San Francisco

Back in August we headed up to San Francisco to walk the Golden Gate Bridge... I grew up in California and had never done it, so it was a must while living in the Bay Area!! 

And...we got to do it with these cute girls!!

 After the bridge we headed to Ghirardelhi Square!  Another must...I had never partaken of one of those famous sundae's that everyone rants about...and let me just say it's worth the $9!!  Sooo Yummy!!

 And Ty loved chasing all of the birds!!

We had a really good time and thanks to Nat and Aub for coming with us!!

July 2012 highlights...

We got back from vacation and were glad to be home!  The kids and I had been gone for 3 weeks...so it was nice to be back!  The last half of July...

Tyler is so funny!  I always find Rachel with some random things that he had brought her to "play" with!!

Lake Powell Round 2!

After our family reunion, we headed back out to Lake Powell!  This time Steve got to come with us, and we met up with some of our friends...we had a great time and are so grateful for the opportunity we had to go... and for the Grow's to allow us to come!

Ross Family Reunion 2012!

We had a lot of fun getting together with Steve's family this year in St. George!  It was so much fun to see the kids play and have fun!  Tyler and Rachel got to meet some of their cousins that they hadn't met yet...so, we had a great time!  We spent time at the pool...

 One day we went this water park that was at the city rec center!  It was awesome, the kids had a blast...and so did the adults!

Lake Powell...Round 1!

We LOVE Lake Powell!!  It's my heaven on earth...and this I was so excited to take the kids to experience it for their first time!  We had a Ross reunion in St. George during the 4th, and the week before that my mom and sister were going to the lake for my sister's graduation trip!!  So...the kids and I loaded up and joined them!!

We had so much fun and are so grateful for the opportunity that we have to enjoy the beauty there at the Lake!  Thank you Grandpa and Grandma and Uncle Mark!!

Fair Week!

In June the kids and I headed up to my parents house for the Placer County Fair!  My family has been a part of 4-H and FFA for some years now...and my littlest sister Aubrey graduated from High School this year, which means that this will most likely be the last fair for us! (But, not if uncle Trevor has anything to do with it, he'll have Aubrey show next year!)  Anyhow, we started the week off with a visit to my Great-Grandma the kids Great-Great-Grandma!  She is an amazing lady and I am so grateful that we are close to get to visit with her!

 Then it was off to the fair!  Tyler immediately found his Papa to show him the pigs!  Tyler loves his Papa, it's one of his favorite words and is always looking for him when we are up there! 

 I basically had to tackle him to even stay by me for a second!

 Tyler and his cousins Ryan and Austin got to enjoy some rides...

We had a great time...I have no pictures of the show...that's because I was trying to manage the kiddos, and Ty really doesn't like to sit still...so, no pictures of Aubrey!  But, she did great and it was a lot of fun!
