Some Fun Things!

The weekend before Thanksgiving my sister Megan and I ran our first half Marathon!  It was a lot of fun!!  I ran it in 2hrs 9 min. 3 min faster than my goal!  It was a really fun environment and I really enjoyed training together for the few months before!  I look forward to the next one!

Halloween 2012

We had a fun Halloween this year!!  We went off of Tyler's current favorite thing right now for our theme... I had got him a cow costume!!  He's a little obsessed!!  Seriously, multiple times a day he'll say "Mommy, Mommy!! Cow's....MOOOO!!"  It's darling!  So then I thought it would be fun to have us ALL be cows...well I spared Steve and he was just Farmer Steve!  Since Rachel doesn't have much of an opinion this year, my sister found her a cow costume to join in, and my cousin had one I could borrow!!  So...we were the cow family...

My sister gave me the idea that I should make our car into a barn for the Trunk or Treat!!  And...so it happened!  It was a lot of fun!!

Pumpkin Patch 2012

The Fall is such a fun time of year!!  This year we headed out to Bishop's pumpkin Patch...a couple of times!! ;)  This place is the real deal and complete kid heaven!!  Seriously, if it hadn't rained the last day we wanted to go...we would've made it out there 3 times this year!!  It's so much fun...filled with Hayrides, farm animals, pig races, train ride, playgrounds, pumpkin picking... There's so much to do, you could spend hours out there!!

We LOVE Bishop's Pumpkin Farm and can't wait til' next year!!

Monterey

 Aunt Megan came for a visit in August!!  We loaded up the kids and headed to Monterey for a night!  We had a lot of fun driving along the Northern California coast and enjoying the beautiful ocean!

Cabin Trip!

Back in August we spent a weekend up at the cabin!!  We had such a great time playing and relaxing!! We spent a day over at Tahoe and some time just around the cabin!! 

 This is the little creek that flows by the cabin...Ty didn't hesitate at all to get his feet wet and throw in some rocks and the stick for Trigger!!! 

 Our new favorite thing of the summer...Paddle boarding!!  We got my family to all try it!! So fun!

 The guys did a crawdad catch again this year... the little boys loved it!
