Rice Cereal!!

Rach has started on rice cereal!  Man, I waited as long as possible to start!  It was just one more thing I really didn't want to add in until I HAD to!  But, when she woke up 3 nights in a row at 5:30, I knew she was ready for a little something extra!!  So here we are...  I forgot how messy it is!  Tyler also has a huge mouth and Rach doesn't, so I have a feeling she will be a different experience in this whole feeling thing!!

 Tyler is so cute!!  I just LOVE this!  I was feeding Rach one morning and she finished her bottle so I got up and ran to the bathroom and came back to this...

He is so funny!  Just so observant and wants to help!

6 and 18 months!!

Rachel is now 6 months!  Wow...it's crazy, she's so fun and I can't imagine how life would be without her around!  We love her, and Tyler is really good with her!  Now that she is more aware and moving some, he is very interested in her!  I just love it, and look forward to the next several months when things really start to change!

 We had their check-ups on the same day!  It wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be!  I just had to take a picture for my memories!!

Nursery

Ty is 18 months!!!  Which means...he's now in nursery!  I can't believe I have a child old enough to go to nursery!  It now makes me realize how young those kids were that I tried to get to sit and listen to a little lesson when I was the nursery leader! HAHA!! 

He actually got 2 first days to nursery!  His official 1st day we were up at my parents house so he went in their ward!  My mom went dropped him and off, and...we didn't hear from him again until I had to go and pull him off of the parachute they were doing when it was time to leave!  Yes...I have an independent toddler, kinda sad!  But, seriously...I am grateful that he is like that and feels comfortable around other people!  Here he is with his picture!!

Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial Day weekend this year!  We spent it up in Loomis with family!  Tyler got to play with his cousin's...and had a blast doing so!!  Here are the boys hanging out in the back of the car while we got loaded up to go on a bike ride!  Trying to get a picture of 3 boys...

We went on a bike ride along the American River in Folsom...it is such a pretty ride and it was a lot of fun to do with everyone!

On Saturday night we went to the Marysville Stampede...it was a lot of fun...Ty loved it!  He even got the meet Cotton Rosser (Flying U Rodeos)!  I promise that's him, Ty was very interested in his horse!!

5 Months

Rachel is 5 months!  She is changing all the time!  She is doing really well!  She is such a good little baby...she's really patient with Tyler and I, and is really good at waiting her turn ;)  She's a good little sleeper, doesn't take a binkie (so weird for me!), and is always so good to just come along for the ride!  The poor girl typically either get's woken up from a nap or has to miss one or catch it in the carseat or stroller!  We HAVE to get out of the house everyday, and she's typically really good! 

I just love that little face!  

Monther's Day

 This year for Mother's Day we headed up to Loomis to spend it with some family!  On Saturday we had a BBQ/Swim party with Schmidt family!  It was a lot of fun!!

On Sunday we went to church, and then headed home to wait for...Uncle/Elder Trevor to call!!  He got to skype with us!  That was so fun to see his face for the first time in about a year and half!  Even Natalie joined the fun via the I-pad!!  So grateful for modern day technology! 

It was a great day...I am so grateful for the mother's in my life and for the opportunity that I have to be a mother to my children! Happy Mother's Day!

Fathers and Sons

This year Steve took Ty and headed to the Father's Sons campout!  These are the only pictures I have, but...they had a blast!  Ty got to play in the dirt, sit around the campfire, sleep in the truck, go on the rope swing, play with the big kids, and have his favorite breakfast...pancakes!!  Pretty much, toddler boy heaven!  I am so grateful for Steve and his excitement to take Tyler to things like this, and teach and show him new things!!  Saying goodbye to mom!
